RunAVenue is the venue owner's side of RunABand — the same platform bands use, seen from the other side of the booking. To sign up, choose Get started on the home page and then follow “Own a venue? Sign up here” at the bottom. Once you are in, claim your venue's listing from the directory. An admin reviews the claim, since claiming a listing is a statement about a real-world relationship.
Putting dates on the calendar
- Set your booking defaults once — usual start and end time, and whether new dates accept band requests.
- Add recurring templates for the nights you always run, then generate dates from them.
- Add one-off dates directly to the calendar.
- Open a date to bands, and connected bands can ask for it.
Working with booking agents
Booking agents can ask to represent your venue. You are the one who approves it — you are the authority on who books your room.
- Requests to represent your venue arrive for you to approve or decline.
- An approved agent works your calendar alongside you.
- You can end a representation at any time.
- You can allocate specific nights to a specific agent — see Who can book a venue.
The tabs across the top
- Calendar — your dates, and everything that happens on one of them.
- Pace — how full the months ahead are against how full this room usually gets them. See Booking pace.
- Recurring slots — the patterns you generate dates from.
- Acts — everyone you book, and what each of them did here. See Your acts.
- Staff and costs — who worked, and what the night cost in people. See Staff and what a night costs.
- Trends — season by season, and which acts actually draw. See Seasons, trends and which acts draw.
- Reports — payouts, with CSV and PDF export.
- Settings — your listing, booking defaults, and your calendar feed.
Money, briefly
- Record the deal for a night — a flat fee, or a percentage of the door.
- Settle the night: door, bar, food, heads through the door. See Kinds of night, and settling one.
- Mark payouts as paid, and export them as CSV or PDF.
Claiming and editing your listing is always available. The booking calendar is a separate, paid capability that an admin switches on for your account.
Everything you record about a night is yours. Bands never see any of it, and a booking agent working your calendar sees only what an act was paid on a flat fee. See What each person can see.
